I’m an alberta resident filing my income tax for the first time at 20 yrs old. I’ve worked part time since I was 14 and even currently in university. I’m also receiving student loans. I was just wondering what is a good estimate of how much I should be getting back for tax returns.

Assuming you’re not making a lot of money (under 20k) with the credits you’ve mentioned I would assume you would get back all the tax withheld by your employer (or the amount in box 22 on your t4).
