@nder76 Hi there! If you mean the frame relay switch config for those routers, do a Google search on “frame relay switch” – my page will be one of the first responses. If you mean for the routers themselves, message me directly and I’ll get that to you! — Chris B.
Hi Chris, do you know where I can find the configs for R1 R2 and R3? I want to make sure I have the exact frame setup for your labs. I want to follow along with your RIP and Static routes labs from your cd. Im on the ICND2 cd now. Im using GNS3 with 3600
Thanks for the video.
I have a question. On this config , should R2 be able to ping R3? I just finish the lab and R1 can Ping R2 and R3 and vice versa But can’t get R2 to ping R3.
hi chris, i have been following your videos quite often and it proved very useful for passing out the ccna in jan……i am thinking of going for ccnp but not sure when coz after july ccnp is gonna change … so please suggest when to begin ….
Thanks Chris! One question: on your diagram you have implied R2 DLCI maps to R1, R3, and R3 DLCI to R1 and R2, but the config only maps each router to R1. Was the second mapping omitted, or does the diagram just imply a mesh connection to all routers, once a DLCI to one router is mapped?
I have three 2611XM switches, one 1721 router and three 2950 switches…=)…all the routers have 1 serial interface in them (wic-1t) except for a 2611XM which has the 8 serial connection interface on it which i use as the frame relay switch =D…..all my routers and switches have fast ethernet interfaces…i also have three DB60-DB60 cables!!! I have the complete CCNA set and my ICND 2 exam is coming next month (2nd Feb 2010)
Chris, This is exactly what I was looking for with one exception, the cable. I can get my serial interfaces pinging in HDLC and PPP with a T1 crossover cat 5e but not the frame relay. Do I actually have to have the frame DCE/DTE (blue) cable? Is there a way of faking it or can I make a cat5 cable that will work?
I’ve only got 2 routers with T1 DSU/CSU WIC cards and a 2950 switch. I’m going to configure the 2621 as the FRC and the 1750 as R1 but that will only give me half of a circuit.
Nice job
Thanks very much for making this video. It is one thing to read the curriculum from Cisco, and another to get multiple explanations.

Thanks, that was very helpful.
CHIRS, CAN YOU MAKE A VIDEO ON – HOW TO BUILD A HOME LAB FOR CCNP WITH COST IN MIND. THANKS

is it possible 2 do the access server config on packet tracer ? thanks
What IOS required for my 2620 w/ NM-8A/S module to make it as a Frame Relay Switch?
Thanks

@SiliconIsuru We’re working on something just like that in summer 2010.

I notice that you use frame relay commands on the interace itself. How is that different from using the connect command..??
FRS(config)# connect R1-R2 Serial0/0 102 Serial0/1 201
It works but I notice that when I do a “show frame route”, it is blank. Why?
Thanks CCIE12933!!
If you can categorize your 123 videos, it would be easy for newbies.

Good luck!! I’m going for the CCNA in about 2 weeks!

Awsome! Thx
How can you resume connections to your other routers like you did @8:20 ? Is it SSH, or just console access, or is it the terminal client being used?
